My Story
I am a First Nations woman, a proud woman living & learning on Naarm Country in Melbourne. I am also a mother, raising two warrior boorias.
As the Founder of Queen Acknowledgements and a business owner for over ten years, I am passionate about making an impact through connection to self, culture and country. My intention is to bring long-lasting positive change, identifying intergenerational trauma and transforming it into intergenerational healing.
My Mission
To enrich deep connections among people, enabling them to embrace their individuality, heritage, and roots. By sharing my own journey and that of my family, I aim to facilitate a greater appreciation and understanding of our collective history, bridging gaps in knowledge, experiences, and communities. I am committed to leaving a positive impact on this land, striving to empower Indigenous communities, nurture their identities, and embody healing and growth, thus breaking the cycle of intergenerational trauma and paving the way for intergenerational healing and transformation.
Through the sharing of cultural wisdom and by inviting non-Indigenous Australians to join me on the path to reconciliation, we can take meaningful action towards a shared future built on respect and understanding. By weaving ancient Indigenous philosophies seamlessly with modern practices, I envision a new and evolved pathway forward. My goal is to inspire unity and respect that embraces our collective heritage, ensuring that we all contribute to leaving this world better than we found it.
